My 10 Year Old Loves This

My 10 year old daughter said this book was "awesome!" She loves watching Lily learn valuable lessons in these stories. These are the first books my daughter has read cover to cover and asked for more.

Valuable Lessons,Repetitive Storyline...

I have to say,this is initially a good series for about the first five books. Lily learns valuable lessons in each one,such as trusting God,what real beauty is,to let people be themselves and not who she wants them to be,etc. But then it just gets repetitive. First of all,Lily starts to learn the same lessons OVER and OVER again,and the girl can't take a hint! I already knew the basic plot before I even opened to the first page : She gets interested in a new hobby,hurts her friends,gets jealous,fights,and then at the end something mildly dramatic happens to get her to make up with her group of friends. Swell. But it happens in every book ! She understands what she did wrong for a while,but in the next book she only seems to have learned half of it. She repeats almost the same mistake! I'd like a role model who really REALLY learns from her mistakes. Enough being said ,that's really just my opinion.I have read the books over and over again so I know what I am talking about.Lily fans,don't be harsh on me for this review,but nancy Rue could have come up with something better for the 8th book.

Great Book

Our 2 year old granddaughter loved this story book. She sat next to us on the couch in her pink tutu as Grandma & Grandpa took turns reading her the story over, and over and over again.
